MIG welding wire is actually an electric arc welding and its full form is Metal Inert Gas. It is DC rectified that is using conventional AC transformer rather than the inverter technology. It is making MIG welder less expensive as compared to inverter TIG welders and MMA welders but high cost-effective than the normal arc welders.

MIG or Metal inert gas is having wire feed setting and power setting. For shielding gas, a gas flow is using the regulator and it is switched on the gas solenoid in conjunction with the wire feed through the operator with the switch on a torch.
