Features of AWS Class E347-16 Coated Electrodes:
BOHLER FOX SAS 2-A E347-17 Coated Electrons are columbium stabilized austenitic stainless steel electrons with good quality general corrosion resistance property and fairly enhanced resistance in sturdy oxidizing conditions than other elements. In addition, it has high resistance to intergranular corrosion after disclosure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation in high ranges. It has better toughness when working at lower temperature regions. UTP 68 (E 347 - 17 Coated Electrodes can be hardened by only cold working and not by hot working. It can be used to weld chromium-nickel alloys by standard fabrication practices.
Advantages of AWS Class E347-16 Coated Electrodes:
Alloy 347-16 Coated Electrodes offer more beneficial features than other electrodes in the presents of oxidizing surroundings up to 1500°F (816°C). It can be used in nitric solutions, most diluted organic acids at moderate temperatures, pure phosphoric acid at lower temperatures, and up to 10% weak solutions at eminent temperatures. These Electrons resist polythionic acid stress corrosion cracking in hydrocarbon service. It can also be utilized in chloride or fluoride-free caustic solutions at normal temperatures.
