What is ERTI-12 MIG & TIG?
Titanium Grade 12 or ERTI-12, is a high-strength alloy more formable as compared to titanium grades 1 through 4. ERTI -12 includes molybdenum and nickel improving the corrosion resistance and is available at a low cost than adding palladium. Its Tensile strength is 65,300 psi, Its Yield strength is 55,100 psi, and less elongation. ERTI-12. Grade 12 is a transitional strength grade originally developed to provide improved crevice-corrosion resistance in high-temperature brines but at a low cost than Grade 7. It has enhanced high-temperature qualities than Grade 2 or 3 and is occasionally specified for pressure vessels or piping for its greater strength alone.
